Lutein, also known as carotenoid, carotenol, phytolutein, nuclear lutein, marigold and phytolutein.
In the natural world, it exists jointly with zeaxanthin, and is the primary component of plant pigments such as corn, vegetables, fruits, flowers and plants. It is contained in the chloroplasts of leaves, and can transfer the light energy taken to chlorophyll a. It is assumed that it is protective and infectious to light oxidation and light powder.
